The shot of Roland throwing bullets in the air and "catching" them in his revolvers made me cringe.

I read a book in the series a very, very long time ago. All I remember is a vivid description of someone being run over by a car.

Yeah, I mean, movies often have multiple trailers that play up different aspects so who knows. Elba and McConaghey seem like they'll be pretty good in their roles, but in ye grande olde list of books that people consider unfilmable the Dark Tower series is at the top.
