Wow. This is a masterclass in political fan fiction.

First off, Trump wasn’t indicted by the House... that’s not how the legal system works. The House votes on impeachments, not criminal charges. Indictments come from grand juries through the judicial system, not a bunch of overcaffeinated and overweight politicians in Congress trying to look busy for C-SPAN.

Second, you call it a “bipartisan vote” like it was some landslide of unity. SPOILER: ten Republicans joined Democrats out of 211. That’s like calling a single pineapple on a pizza a fruit salad.

Third, “That is all the proof you need”? Really? So we're tossing out courts, evidence, trials, and due process now because you got excited by a headline? That’s not how justice works.

But hey, you tried. Next time, try Googling the difference between impeachment and indictment before declaring “case closed” like you're starring in some low-budget legal drama.

I disagree on some of your points. It does appear that she was advancing upon him & attempting to cross that barrier. We later know she was unarmed, but that wouldn’t be a safe assumption by the police in the moment. People were actively beating down this barrier with blunt objects that could be used in that moment as a deadly weapon. Had that barrier been breached, nobody really knows what would happen (especially in that moment) but one could reasonably assume based on the behavior that there was violent intent & that the officer feared for his life & the lives of others.

If someone is trying to kick down the front door in the middle of the night, I’m shooting through that door at that person to protect my family. Texas would find me justified in self defense. I get that is not quite the same situation and this is a different jurisdiction, but my general point is self defense doesn’t mean you wait to act at the last possible moment and/or when it’s too late & harm has already come. The police gave multiple lawful commands to stop, there was a barrier that was degrading, I saw her make multiple advancements to cross that line, the woman was engaged in violent criminal behavior. the officer felt in imminent danger of seriously bodily harm, and he responded with lethal force.

I understand you see this differently and we’re just going to disagree on some facts. I do think the government should have investigated, but ultimately the DA has the discretion to prosecute or not based on the facts of the case.

It never made it through the Senate because of spineless Republicans caving to MAGA. No court will touch this case for another 4 years. But if we make it that long without Trump majorly fucking up the whole thing will be able to try him in a proper court and put his ass in jail where he should have gone a long time ago.

On teenagers…well I’ll be remiss to say I did some really dumb shit when I was one (never hurt anybody but delinquent behavior like knocking over trash cans & mooning people on a jogging trail from the passenger seat of a car, street racing like I was in Fast & Furious…stuff like that.). I don’t know what you consider wilding in the streets. If your standards for that are low, we could be smoking entire generations.

Look I'm not here to relitigate things that have already happened. Trump was impeached for inciting an insurrection. It's ancient history.
