Simu seems to operate on the policy that if they get called out in public, they will make relevant information public in their response. From their perspective, I suspect they also wanted people to understand the amount of crap they put up with.

What were their options there? Hiding the post and dealing with him out of band, or pointing out there's more to the situation than this single incident. I absolutely think highlighting his disproportionate usage of assist was pertinent and i'd rather they deal with that kind of stuff in the open when it happens than sweeping it under the rug. That being said, if a merchant is going to have hard restrictions like that it should be noted on the announcement / calendar / etc. Their point i'm going to guess is that those events aren't intended for people to come from all over to attend, but rather for the residents of those towns.
