Actually what happened is that they agreed to make good faith attempts to consistently and effectively moderate content promoting violence or terrorism when they signed up with AWS/Google/Apple. Then their idiot CEO decided to do an interview last week where he said that the fact that people were planning terrorism on his app wasn't his problem.

He got one last warning from Apple to create a moderation plan to put itself in compliance with the ToS, and they again refused.

So everyone dropped them.

And now they're telling everyone it's because they host conservative content. And it's infuriating.

They didn't get screwed by Big Tech. They got screwed by Parler's idiot CEO.
