Ubisoft has been antagonistic toward PC gamers for a long time. They are also absolutely paranoid of piracy. A while ago their CEO said PC gamers pirated 95% of their games, and used it as an excuse to implement multi-stage DRM which could literally damage your computer (uPlay is a legacy of this). Then there are the shoddy ports. I legitimately think they don't care, and/or are trying to force gamers to only play on console.

Realization that my next trip might cost around $6000 and I need to cut it down.

South African Airways taking 3 pages to tell me the baggage allowance was 2 checked/1 carry-on throughout the journey. It took me and an aviation attorney ten minutes to figure it out.

Sad stuff. Sounds like the cop was trying to deescalate the situation and paid for it with his life.

One of my friends posted on Facebook that this was the Best Black History Month ever. (Yes they are Black)

I then asked them if they felt it was ok to only talk about Black History once a year... and their response was.. "I don't understand"

Forget those games.... look at Might and Magic 7. Frankly anyone that was part of that game should be lined up and shot.

Our society has decided to set aside one month a year for the special commemoration of historical events relevant to a people who have a shared heritage of oppression and success just as we sometimes have marked an Irish-American Heritage or National American Italian Heritage Month. This commemoration is a focal point, a way of organizing time. You're surely aware that just because there's a feast day for Saint Scholastica, it doesn't stop me from remembering her on any or every other day of the year. Just because I write my wife a note on Valentine's Day or our anniversary, it doesn't mean I can't tell her I love her on any or every day of the year. Just because educators and all sorts of other people decided to establish a particular month for remembering black history, it didn't stop me from teaching about the history of black men and women throughout the year when I was working in the public high schools.

So what was your point really? You act like it's obvious but it's not at all.

Because setting aside one month to talk about Black History makes it seem like the rest of the year Black History doesn't matter.

Fine .. maybe YOU bring up Black people in History ever chance you got, but I know I never learned about any outside of February. I know my nieces and nephews certainly don't.

But you know... keep thinking that because you personal do things, that EVERY single person does.
