Had a fantastic Halloween! I took my 'Tween trick or treating for the first time in 5 years and probably the last time ever. I was away traveling to horse events so many Halloweens and then the ex had her last year, so this was quite a treat to spend this last tangible moment of childhood with my daughter. I surprised her with an addition to her elf costume - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Galadriel Crown. Her friend went as Alice in Wonderland but put on too much makeup and looked like a zombie version. It was so amusing to watch their enthusiasm about gathering candy that their parents would normally just give them. Which is to say, there wasn't much. It was way more about the costumes. Hahaha. Times, they are a changing. Super cute costumes, though. I saw SO MANY ELSAS, OMG. The most awesome group costume I saw was a Frozen crew of several people with a 6+ foot tall Sven daddy carrying a baby Anna. Adorbs.
