What Are You Wearing?

This outfit is not quite complet, but I coulnd't help putting the items I did have finished on..it is absolutly gorgeous. I in NO WAY designed this outfit. I put out a plee on the official boards for some help, and Charna was graceful enough to reply. I'm amazed at what she did, her talents are terrific. I have her some color ideas, and that I wanted the outfit design to match that on the official documents, located here http://www.play.net/gs4/info/tomes/costumes/sylvans.asp. I will post at the bottom the few remaining items I need to complete this wonderful outfit.

She appears to be young and sprightly and shorter than average. She has sparkling violet eyes and lily white skin. She has long, violet-sheened deep black hair that tumbles past her shoulders in languid rivulets. She has a delicate face, a small nose and thin-tipped pointed ears.
She has a complex wheat and eye tattoo on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is holding a petal-shaped organza handbag in her right hand.
She is wearing a dark-hued vaalin leaf collar, a gauzy ginger sylvan surcoat, a petal-pattern quilted linen corsage, a full-skirted claret chainsil bliaut with ginger banded funnel sleeves, a series of rowan bangles inlaid with carnelian iceblossoms, and a slender tapestry weave girdle.

a petal-shaped soft organza handbag ~ Quadruple paneling gives the dainty handbag a lively feel that is further enhanced by the delicate embroidery at the bottom, which causes the petal-cut pieces to curve gently upward. Crisp ginger-hued organza creates a warm overlay that is pinned in place by carnelian beads cut to resemble tiny dewdrops across the body of the piece. A drawstring of braided claret and ginger chainsil is fitted through a thin sheath at the opening and doubles as a wrist-loop that is knotted to keep the ends from fraying.

A gauzy warm ginger sylvan surcote ~ Sheer organza is layered with gauzy silk to form a free flowing sylvan surcote dyed a spicy ginger hue. Gently tailored pleats allow the garment to fall unfettered from the narrow shoulders, past the sleeveless armholes to the claret iceblossom embroidery at the ankle-length hem. Carnelian nodules, left smooth and natural, add colorful character to the left and right opening, and are purely ornamental.


A petal-patterned quilted linen corsage ~ Trimmed in delicate chainsil piping at the sleeveless armholes and scooped neck, the durable corsage is double quilted for colder weather and fashioned of a rich claret linen. The garment displays a rounded petal quilting crafted of warm ginger threads and accented with miniscule carnelian beads set at the tapered point of each petal. The blossom shaped eyelets that run the length of the back are fitted with claret cords designed to secure the garment snugly in place and are capped in carnelian periapts.

A slender tapestry weave girdle ~ Slender in width, and extra long for a double wrap, the fine linen girdle is edged in twin ties designed to dangle freely at the hips. Each slender tie is set with rowan periapts carved into delicate blossom around a nucleus of glittering carnelian. A myriad of ginger hued threads comprise the principal pattern of the tapestry weave along the girdle’s face, and are accented by rich claret and niveous threads that form the image of an interlocking iceblossom chain.

There are three more additional items I do need to complete this lovely set they would be.
A linen-strung carved rowan iceblossom ~ Slim strips of claret-hued linen form a delicately braided chain with tiny carnelian beads set at even intervals along the length, while a carved rowan iceblossom is strung from the center. The wood is left natural so that each petal is palest at the edge and dark where the chocolate brown grains converge on the carved nucleus. A large carnelian bead is fitted through a simple loop hasp near the back to secure the piece in place, and is carved with a chain-wrapped heart.

She appears to be youthful and shorter than average. She has inquisitive silver-flecked cerulean-hued eyes and ivory skin. She has very long, flowing golden blonde hair upswept into a neat bun with several locks escaping from it and falling to her hips. She has an upturned nose and sharp pointed ears.
She has a simple Vaalor crest tattoo on her wrist.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a pair of petite half-lensed spectacles, a choker of marquise-cut garnets linked by tiny golden orbs, a silk-lined garnet velvet cloak, a square-necked ecru damask cotehardie fitted with a narrow garnet silk cincher, and some pointed garnet satin slippers.

Gah, ecru!

Seriously though, I love it. Mm, garnet.

She is wearing a pair of scarlet despanal chandelier earrings, a sharply cut short ebon silk jacket, a despanel-set black vaalin ring, a slender strapless gown of dusk grey chiffon wrapped in a descending spiral, and some silken leather-soled sandals.

Jacket:
Fine, matte silk forms this petite, exquisitely tailored midriff-style jacket. The sleeves are long and split down the back from the elbow, causing them to flare faintly. Ornate lacing fastens the jacket from the low standing collar to the hemline, cut to come to a sharp point in the front.

Ring:
The ring is a thick, flat band of brushed black vaalin with a stylized rose intaglio etched into the surface, each petal realized with precision. A smooth, tear-shaped scarlet despanel sits at the edge of one petal, shining like a drop of fresh blood against the contrasting blackness of the setting.

It's all been seen but for the boots which are new, but it's been about 6 months since I wore it so I'll put the shows up as well.

Jacket:
Lightweight silk has been custom-tailored and dyed a deep perse in color for the jacket and four engraved silver clasps adorn the garment from midriff to hem. A soft layer of satin lines the inside while the long sleeves taper to a v-shaped point at the wrists. Translucent embroidery adorns the edges of the sleeves and a deep hip-length slit has been included on each side of the jacket to provide slight flares and accent the figure when worn.

Pants:
Casual and lightweight, these form-fitting pants are designed to ride low upon the hips and fasten at the back with a small silver clasp. Featuring flared ankles, the garment is designed for ease of movement as well as fashion and sport a small third-inch side-slit just at the hem of each pant leg.

He is wearing a sleek black iron mesh cloak fastened from throat to waist with slate grey clasps, a suit of scorched black obsidian breastplate, a hazy glass ring, a black leather kilt overlapped with long flowing grey silk, some sleek black cloth leg-wraps elegantly cross-tied with misty grey leather bonds, and a pair of matte black boots striated with pale grey hues.

All I need is to add shows to them and he's complete.

She appears to be a Half-Sylvan.
She appears to have come of age and is short in stature. She has long-lashed, expressive twilight blue eyes and smooth, creamy skin. She has long, silky raven black hair caught in a casual roll at the nape of her neck by some lacquered pale mistwood hairsticks. She has a finely contoured aristocratic face, an upturned nose and wide hips. She has petite, upswept ears that taper to delicate points.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a two-tiered faenor link choker, a full-length green silk cloak, a soft tawny suede bodice with soft ivory linen sleeves, an elegant hip-tied sage green linen skirt, and some flat-soled leather sandals fastened with gilded rings.

Everything is off the shelf except the hairsticks. The only thing I would change is the sleeves of the bodice, 'cause I hate how it has "soft" twice.
