Skindread - No One Gets Out Alive
Epica- The Divine Conspiracy
Lovely to Me--Lucky Jim
You're lovely to me yes you are
We've traveled together
We've traveled so far
Your tongue it is wise
And there's love in your eyes deep and blue
You're lovely to me yes you are
And venus ascending is surely your star
I've seen how you shine
But I can't make you mine it is true
You're a midsummer mountain in bloom
Heather and linden, the fruit of your womb
There's honey and sap in the couch of your lap
Lady day
There's nothing you would not provide
When all is despair you are there at my side
It is you that is near it is you that gives ear
when I pray
You're lovely to me yes you are
You've been out on the road with a craving for tar
You know what you need yes you're canny in deed
And in name
You're lovely to me yes you are
And I'll see you tonight in a local bar
We'll be wed before dawn and by morning
We're one and the same
The old ones they knew you my love
They set you to reason and sullied a dove
But how could they try you or demystify you with words
You're a city that's pulling me still
You keep me from sleeping and strengthen my will
The gates they are strong but they open for song I
have heard
You're lovely to me yes you are
You're the beautiful one that time cannot mar
Your lost in the eyes of my love as she cries all for
joy
You're lovely to me yes you are
You're the elusive chord on my old guitar
You're hidden 'neath veils that our love making fails
to destroy
There's all I desire in your voice
I fear I am bold but you leave me no choice
You know that to ask me to turn from my task would be
vain
You're a rose that for no man will yield
You have many names and all of them sealed
Your empire is vast from the first to the last you
remain
You're lovely to me yes you are
It's war all the time but you bare no scar
You glitter like sand as it runs through my hands to
the sea
You're lovely to me yes you are
You're my drunken companion it's right that you are
Your love takes me higher your love is the fire in me
--I seem to be hooked on any Scottish Music I can find.

Glorianna~Wild at Heart.
Down a back road
Long, hot summer
A couple kids runnin' loose and wild
He kissed her
She said mister,
Take an inch and I'll give you a mile
I ain't here to do anything half-way
Don't give a damn what anyone might say
I just wanna free fall for a while
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leading
To the first sweet taste of freedom
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart
About midnight, he tells her
I ain't got no come-on lines
Well I'll love you, or I'll try to
We got nothing to lose but time
Stick your hand into my back pocket
Light me up like a bottle rocket
I just wanna free fall for a while
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leadin'
To the first sweet taste of freedom
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart
O-oh, alright
Tonight is tellin' us we're way too young
O-oh, that's alright
I've got forever on the tip of my tongue
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leading
To the first sweet taste of freedom
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leading
To the first sweet taste of freedom
You got me runnin' baby,
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart
O-oh, alright...
ps. in my defense I am subject to whatever the teens and pre-teens are rockin' through the house every morning. I swear though I hear Taylor Swift You belong with Me, one more time, I will scratch my own eardrums out!

"Never Say Never"
Stay with me
Won’t you wait for me
Care for me
And never say never
Love
You’re in my flesh and bone
Where ever you go I’m home
I’ll follow you
You’re in my head
In my heart
In my soul
Like the air I breathe
You’re in my head
In my heart
In my soul
Like the air I breathe
Yes you’re my favourite need
I’ll follow you
I’ll follow you
When everything seems lost
I’m stuck and falling down
You will guide me home
So promise me
You’ll stay with me
Won’t you wait for me
Care for me
And never say never
No never say never again
No never say never again

House of Heroes are slowly sucking me in. Poor Jin had to put up with my gushing today. But, they are a lot of fun. I read a review that said, in essence, if Sgt. Peppers-era Beatles got together with Relient K, it'd sound a lot like these guys.
My current favorites by them:
Bullets for Bucket Wounds
Lose Control (ignore the video, couldn't find one with just the song)
In the Valley of the Dying Sun (music video)
Code Name: Raven
Gretchen
System- Korn. From the Queen of The Damned soundtrack. One of the best soundtracks off a movie, damn.
Tonight~ Sarah Evans
If I had weakness, you sure found it tonight,
Some hidden desperation you saw floatin' in my eyes.
Moments just like these, baby: wrong can feel so right,
An' I don't wanna go home tonight.
I've held it all together long as I can.
There's pieces of me fallin' right into your hands.
Don't the lies come easy, baby, when the truth just ain't worth the fight:
No I, I don't wanna go home tonight.
So lay me down easy, hold on tight,
Tell me I'm the only one you see tonight.
Lonely woman, lonely man:
There's just some things only lonely understands.
I might be just a sinner who wants to be a saint;
One justifies the reason, oh; one understands the pain.
And I don't know what's wrong, baby, and I sure don't know what's right,
But I don't wanna go home tonight.
So lay me down easy, an' hold on tight,
An' tell me I'm the only one you see tonight.
Lonely woman, lonely man:
There's just some things only lonely understands
At this current moment...
Wings for Marie pt 2
Listen to the tales and romanticize,
How we follow the path of the hero
Boast about the day when the rivers overrun,
How we'll* rise to the height of our halo.
Listen to the tales as we all rationalize
Our way into the arms of the savior
Feigning all the trials and the tribulations,
None of us have actually been there,
Not like you...
Ignorant fibbers* in the congregation
Gather around spewing sympathy,
Spare me...
None of them can even hold a candle up to you,
Blinded by choices these hypocrites won't see
But enough about the collective Judas
Who could deny you were the one who illuminated
my* little piece of the divine
This little light of mine, the* gift you passed onto me,
I'm gonna let it shine,
to guide you safely on your way
Your way home...
Ohh, what are they gonna do when the lights go down
without you to guide them all to Zion?
What are they gonna do when the rivers overrun
other than tremble incessantly?
High is the way
but our lives are upon the ground.
You are the light and the way
They'll only read about
I only pray heaven knows
When to lift you out
10000 days in the fire is long enough.
You're going home...
You're the only one who can hold your head up high,
Shake your fist at the gates saying,
"I have come home now!
Fetch me the spirit, the son and the father,
Tell them their pillar of faith has ascended.
It's time now!
My time now!
Give me my
Give me my wings!"...

Yes it's barbershop and yes they kick ass. I got to sing tags with them and my dad at an afterglow after one of their shows, it pwnd.
Heh, I knew it'd be barbershop.
Don't worry, I'm equally as predictable.
My dad sent me a text with a wav file attached. Fucking thing is yelling like someone is being murdered. Which is always great in a quiet office.....lots of people running over going what was that, are you ok, etc. etc. Fucker.
Your father is a great man.
A bear of a man.
I'll Be Your Man----The Black Keys
Some Eartha Kitt videos on Youtube. For you kids out there, she was a simply incredible singer. She was also a Catwoman on the Batman series.

Nobuo Uematsu ~ Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - Soundtrack
Utterly epic. The music sounds as good or even better without the movie. Love it.

Just spotted the George Harrison tribute video posted earlier. I can't get over how his son (Dhani, I think?) looks exactly like him.

Sufi dance chants. Exotic, hypnotic and totally weird. But makes me want to praise allah.
VNV Nation ~ Art of Conflict
Just starting to get into their music and I'm loving it. This one is probably the best I've heard so far from their latest album. I love how the lyrics are all from Sun Tzu's Art of War.

Circle Jerks (band) - Group Sex (album) - I Just Want Some Skank (song)
Let Freedom Ring - Pretty Poison
One of my absolute favorite rock (or otherwise) records ever, Fantastic Planet by Failure.
I got this CD a loooong time ago when I signed up for one of those '12 CDs for $1' deals through BMG or whatever. You know, the kind that used to wreck the credit of irresponsible college students. I didn't even request the CD, it got sent to me accidentally and I'd never even heard of the band. I liked it, and spent the next few years claiming I knew Failure before they got cool. Of course, they never actually got cool. Good CD, though. Still have it.
