In the U.S. there are over 2000 (mind you, nowhere near enough) domestic abuse shelters for women. Not one of those is open for male victims of spousal abuse. There are 0 shelters for men. Hell, Erin Pizzey, the woman who founded the very first such domestic violence shelter in the world in England is not even allowed to set foot in the building SHE BOUGHT because she committed the horrible sin of saying that women are just as bad as men when it came to domestic violence.
