Yeah, pansies like a lot of water and lots of sun. These deficits can be somewhat mitigated by watering every day but using Miracle Grow every other day. It's like crack for flowers. It's how a lot of nurseries keep their plants looking so spiffy.

My frown for the week: we hired someone to do some mosaic tile work on the hearth. The workman had the TV on as background while he worked and he managed to fuck up one of the remotes. My husband is in Oregon until Tuesday and I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX IT.

They usually come with these paper manual thingies... if you can't find that, you can probably find one online if you look up your remote/TV. This, of course, assumes you're like my mother and can't figure out the programming codes and the guy didn't somehow cram it with mud or something.
