Jalapeno nachos or just the standard melted cheese?
I don't condone vandalizing food. I know it's a reality though.
That being said, I completely would look the other way when a complete asshat goes beyond the, "This is what's wrong with my order." and starts on the, "Are you people so stupid that you can't even get an order right? How smart do you have to be to do this bullshit job."
And cue a random employee wiping a piece of garlic bread between a random cook's sweaty ass cheeks. I don't like personal attacks when people are just trying to do their job. It happens, and food vandalism happens. In every other instance, I'm with you Tisket, in that it's unacceptable. When someone talks down to a waiter/waitress/food service employee, I revel in the fact that the person they talked shit to, can screw with mr/mrs high-and-mighty's life for one brief moment.
Doesn't make it right. But it does make it deserved.
You know, I was going to post this because HAH! GOLD! GOLDSCHLAGER.
But then I watched it. That guy drank WAY too many bloody Mary's. It was like a train wreck. Couldn't look away.
Bitch couldn't hold his liquor. Had to be said.

It's not vandalism. It's assault.Be a man (or woman, as the case may be). Walk up to Mr. High and Mighty and piss in their drink or whatever it is you think they deserve. Or keep being a coward. Your call.Quote:

They say you should never blame the victim, but people who mouth off to servers/staff have it coming. That being said, I think anyone who is caught messing with people's food should be punished to whatever extent is allowed.
You may be worldly, Latrin, but it really shows that you're trying to bait a trap. Don't be purposefully naïve.
You know good and well that a person will not, and in 99% of times, should not, approach someone to tell them off for being rude/insulting/unacceptably prickish. That will...
a) Get you fired.
b) Get you assaulted.
c) Get you shot.
d) Although this is low in occurrence, I am sure, a guy at a steakhouse did this. A line cook or something. Here in Sacramento. He walked out and told off a guy. In front of his family. The guy took his family home, came back, waited for the guy, and beat him with a baseball bat so badly he ended up in the hospital with brain damage. Now, this was a few years ago, but I'm sure this sort of thing happens rarely.
e) Fuck with your livelihood and you supporting yourself/your family.
For what? Personal pride? Again, stop trying to bait a trap. Vandalizing food because of a rude customer is one thing. What you're proposing is another. People choose the 'cowardly' way, as you put it, to get their tiny piece of justice.
Although, quite honestly, I'd laugh my tail off if you came out from the back and straight up unleashed your cock and pissed in somebody's drink. Right before you were fired, assaulted, and arrested.
