Eef. That's pretty good in years. I spent 1700 on my cat Mergatroyd for three different bloodworks at the vet because of renal failure. They went in, fixed him, he broke again. Three times before I put him down =(. I question what I did, but he was family, and I didn't want to let go.
My condolences, Fallen. I wish you the best no matter what you choose.
And your vets are fucking thieves. Just had to throw that in there.
She's gone.

Sad stuff. Thanks for the well wishes.

I'm sorry to hear that Fallen. :(
My dog had something similar happen to her. I brought her in to get spayed, and a few days later she was lethargic and not eating. I followed her outside and she started peeing large amounts of blood, so I quickly rushed her to an emergency vet. I thought something had gone wrong with her spaying but it wound up being autoimmune hemolytic anemia. They suppressed it with steroids or something and gave her a transfusion - it went away, but she can't be vaccinated because of a permanently weakened immune system.

Not looking forward to having this happen to Kittygirl...
