Even in the article YOU provided, in the very last paragraph (because of course), it says someone conducted more than 3 dozen interviews and the minors and their parents confirmed that the "ice boxes" and "dog pound" stories are complete bullshit.

So there is that.

But that sort of story doesn't sell newspapers or get people to click. Having 15+ paragraphs of how illegal aliens are being mistreated is what gets those far left dollars.
