We are painting the porch today. I tried to get my boss to call me into work this weekend but the bastard just laughed at me.

It is a sad commentary on the lame stream media, that's true. Black rhinos die every day, where's their article? Oh but a single white rhino dies and it's front page news.

Apparently black rhinos reproduce way faster. Probably for the welfare benefits.

Read a news story today claiming that a house caught fire after an oxygen tank "exploded."

God needs to invent a way to reach through the internet and slap someone silly already. We don't need a news site propagating this myth.

What is the myth? Oxygen tanks can explode, depending on the mixture and how pressurized it is... And I'd imagine it would cause a fire.

There is a reason why an ambulance is the most dangerous vehicle to be in in an accident.

I'm pretty sure the guy Tgo's referencing was smoking near the tank.

As far as the explosion itself causing a fire, no, unless it explodes near an open flame or something. The explosion isn't caused by combustion but by penetration or some kind of structural weakness.
