What Are You Wearing?

You see Lady Michiko Lawyk the Woodswoman.
She appears to be a Half-Sylvan.
She appears to be in the flower of life and short. She has long-lashed, expressive twilight blue eyes and flawlessly smooth, soft ivory-white skin. She has long, silky raven black hair that flows down her back, curling at the tips to brush against her hips. She has a dainty face, an upturned nose and petite, delicate ears that taper to slight points.
She has a cute mouse tattoo on her ankle.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a black velvet choker fastened with a silver eight-pointed star, a velvet-lined sable suede satchel, a deeply-hooded crushed velvet longcoat with carved ebony buttons, a single black lily, a silver-boned dark velvet corset, a hip-length sheer silk chemise, a thin silver filigreed black belt, a star-incised deep black censer, some soft black velvet pants, and some low-heeled ebon moire silk slippers.


This is her black & silver "Huntress" outfit. She also has a blue & silver asian-inspired outfit, a gold and ivory formal outfit, a silver and green formal outfit, and a silver and green "ranger" outfit. :bounce:

I think I'm going to work on a red and silver one next, heheh.

I like the new non-blonde Michiko. And I love that outfit you showed right there, even more than I like the cheongsam one. I think it's the chemise + corset that does it for me. I'll try very hard not to rip it off, heh, in my admiration.

Well here's my girl, she is currently in one of her winter outfits.

You see Lady Jacina Purplehart the Consoler.
She appears to be a Loenthra Elf.
She appears to be in the spring of life and taller than average. She has enchanting amethyst-hued eyes and flawless fair skin. She has waist length, tendriled chestnut hair falling in gentle waves about her hips. She has finely drawn features, and a long slender neck with a delicately defined collarbone.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a fur-lined amethyst pelisse of brushed velvet topped with a fel-supported calash, a silver-tooled thunderstone choker, an intricately beaded violet cotehardie, a powder white ermine snoskyn, and some calf-high white leather boots.


Show of the choker:
Tiers of dark amethyst beads have been strung on slender silver wire, forming the body of this simple and delicate choker. At the center, a single purple thunderstone cabochon glimmers as light dances off of it, the beautiful jewel enclosed in an intricate knot work frame of gleaming silver.

Show of the cotehardie:
Fashioned from fine samite fabric with thick silver threading in a whorled pattern along the upper sleeves and neckline, the cotehardie is a skillfully tailored garment. The scoop neck is edged with gathered white tulle that cinches at the shoulders. A wide band of moonlight ivory silk encircles the joint of the fitted sleeves. The gown itself, dyed to a pale violet color, clings closely to the body and is adorned with a complex pattern of tiny crystal beads along the white silk and silver thread.

Show of the snosykn:
Pristine ermine fur has been carefully cut to make a small, yet elegant muff for the hands. Smooth snow-colored silk lining peeks out from either end of the warm tube. A small cording of veloutine is attached to the muff making it possible to be worn on the wrist.

Show on the boots:
Pristine white leather is shaped to a close fit covering the foot, ankle, and calf. The elegantly tailored boots are cuffed with fluffy bands of snow cat fur. A clean line of crystal bead buttons trails down the back of each boot and contrasts perfectly with the small fel heel.

Boots are a must during the winter despite the fact I usually reserve wearing boots with only a skirt. Fel is a good wood for standing up in the cooler weather, and there is something about purple and silver against a white background that I just adore.

I might post some of my other outfits/chars, we'll see.

That is exactly what I first thought, heh. But then, I went further and thought, 'I want a muff!' Like... one I can show in public without shame.

Jacina looks adorable, and the cotehardie is very nice on her coloring.

I was trying to think of a way to make any item for Darva's fashion show that was a muff...but I doubted that any gm would make ANYTHING like that.

Imagine the horrors that would come of owning:
