I didn't buy it, I'm just bitching about it. That's what this thread is for, right?
I just think it's shitty to sell a floor model that is missing half the parts and not disclose this fact and only mark it down 50% and to top it all off they won't let you return it no matter what.
This is something I would expect from a used car salesman.
I mean... it had a list of parts on the box, no? Isn't that how you figured out it was missing parts? Perhaps they assumed customers would compare.
No, this was the floor model so it had no box. I'll admit the hose was very obviously missing but then again someone who doesn't know much about pressure washers might not even realize this until they got the thing home. The nozzles missing wasn't as obvious, again if someone doesn't know much about pressure washers they might not even know it's supposed to come with nozzles. I also looked this pressure washer up online and it's supposed to come with oil as well and this one did not come with oil and it's not listed anywhere what it's supposed to come with.
I have no problem with them trying to rip people off by selling this thing for 100 dollars, just would have been nice if they said it was the demo model and that it was missing parts. I had assumed that since they didn't say it was missing parts on the price sticker that maybe the person who marked it didn't even realize it was missing parts but thankfully the lady at customer service was omnipotent and knew the person who marked it knew it was missing parts and factored that into the price.
Hey! You try being a middle class white male living in the US and then come back and tell me it's easy!
