All of my texts use full words, amazingly you can get the point across in 140 words or less without having to resort to something that looks like a retarded terrier was chewing on your phone.

Eh, I don't text myself. I flat out hate the medium. It takes me about five minutes to text a response, I can call and convey 50x the information in 30 seconds, with zero chance of misunderstanding. I just find it odd that an emoticon in a text is what sets him off.

Do emoticons work in rep comments? Cause that's how I'm going to communicate when I leave a comment for anyone who hates emoticons. I very seldom use them myself but I have to find my entertainment wherever I can.

I prefer texts when it is just like, one thing to say to someone. Like "Going to head up there at 5" or whatever.

Wait until your kids are older with their own phones and they are constantly texting you. I used to be the same way.. but years of texting has actually grown on me.

Ok, I get it now. This place is really tacky. I went into a shop called the Gay Dolphin and I felt my soul die a little inside. It's what I'd imagine hell to be like, if it existed. Heh, this reminded me of when I played Warcraft. We had a dude in our guild, French Canadian I think, and when he'd say, "Focus, focus!", it sounded like, "Fuck ass, fuck ass!". It made for some entertaining moments on Vent.

And I'm going to post this here even though it really belongs in the smile thread:

I spilled coffee on my mouse this morning so I ran to Best Buy and picked up a new wireless mouse. Got home and put the battery in and connected the wireless chip thing but the thing wouldn't work. And the brief direction sheet that came with it? It said to check the website for troubleshooting. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET ONLINE WITHOUT MY MOUSE! I guess I could have used my phone but it still made me laugh.

The problem turned out to be operator error anyway. I installed the battery wrong. Duh.
