Thread for Things That Made You Frown Today

My husbands theory is that the insects stripped it that clean. I don't think insects could strip that thing that quickly, even if it wasn't noticed for a week.

I'd go with your husband's theory. If I found that in my backyard, my first thought would be that we had a neighborhood kid who is practicing to become a serial killer by perfecting his technique on the local fauna.

I'd hope my husband would talk me down too.

Well, we have a lot of deer in our woods and some foxes for sure. Not sure what could have killed it and somehow brought a leg into my front yard..

A dog probably.

Without a closer view or different angle it looks like could be up to or over a year old.

We have been thatching, because we want our lawn to sustain good games of croquet which requires really short grass--but we set the mower too low and now we have an awkward brownish spot by the garage. Baaaw.

No AC in the office this morning...floor to ceiling windows that won't open. It's like a sauwwwna in here.
