I guess you people up in Ohio don't know how to cook. I've never had a dry turkey for Thanksgiving.

My buddy had a Thanksgiving or maybe a Christmas up in Nova Scotia with his wives family. Her dad is an accountant for some commercial fishing outfits there. His gift was as many pounds of fresh caught shellfish that he could eat. He's true blue american country all the way, but he sure didn't complain about the lack of turkey.
You hit the nail on the head when it comes to my family. We have a long and successful history in the fight against food borne pathogens. We do it by cooking the meat until it's done, then cooking it some more for good measure.

Here's how to cook a turkey:
Step 1: brine it.
Step 2: deep fry it.
I don't need any thanks now, but come november just say a prayer for me!
