Most phones (at least with ones I've had) auto adjust for brightness. If you're in a well lit place, your screen gets brighter to help compensate for the surrounding light so it's easier to see so a few of them should make a very visible image that should be seen. However, if they have glass protectors on, depending on the angle they're held, the distance from us (hard to tell in the ant sized video how far back this video is taken from), the direction of the light and what might actually be reflecting off the glass screens - they could appear to be off even though they are not.

It could be possible that some of those people have a privacy screen protector on, so ones at more of an angle may appear to not have any image show up on them even though they actually do, so that is a possibility.

I think stupid things like this should be left to stupid people. Who actually gives a fuck if someone is taking a video of Biden. Some people do like him or some people may not like him, but just because he's the current sitting president they want to record that interaction. Folks, you need to find better things to do with your time.

No speculation on if they are recording or not, but I think the vast majority of people need to put the fucking phone down and live in the moment anyway.

As I said, it has been a rough week for the Biden admin in the courts. His continued executive overreach and complete disregard for the limits of power imposed on his office by the Constitution have made clear to the American people that he is both a tyrant & a threat to our Republic.
