A "Muslim" led "liberal" city... in the "United States"... banning "LGBTQ+" public displays....

Everyone for the past year has been trying to call Florida/DeSantis all types of things... because he outlawed PORNOGRAPHY in children's classrooms.

Read that article and see how the tone is so much different.... but yea... banning PORNOGRAPHY from kid's classrooms is more hateful somehow.

The US is just filled with fucking morons.


PS: I'm all for the actual resolution they passed - not what this article purports to have happened. They essentially said "no flags of any type will be displayed by the city on public property". My comments are in reference to how the article is framed and it's tone.

I'm curious, are you surprised that religious people are using their bigotry to marginalize another group, or surprised that elections allowed people whose religious beliefs led them to discriminate against others? On one hand, you seem to forget that religion has drove intolerance, hatred and violence throughout history.. so duh and on the other hand, you simply have no concept of how elections work. Neither would be surprising for a conservative.

I would almost be willing to agree to pay it IF, in exchange for doing it, no one in this country could ever mention racism against black people or people of mixed decent ever again under penalty of federal felony.
