I get that you don't like their phrasing, but it doesn't change the situation.

Getting ready to get tied to an armchair in front of the TV for the Seahawks playoff game. My husband and his brother are going to standby and make sure I don't fall asleep again. I did that the last loss they suffered so obviously it's my fault they lost.

When I got home, I was sitting in my roommate's room with all of them and my cat came in and didn't come up to me, or cuddle me. I left the room and returned, she was in my roommate's gf's lap and wouldn't look at me. :[ Then she sat with me for a little, but spent like 2 hrs with this chick cuddling. I got so jealous, of my cat... with another woman.

Dude. My cat isn't though. My cat has always been stuck to me like glue, scratching anyone else, only loves me. :[ :[

She usually runs from one room to the next if I get up, so she can greet me there too. She always wants to be in my lap, on my back/chest/shoulder. She gives me kisses on command and head boops me when I lean forward. This was the first time she's ever really taken to another person. She paws at my face and stretches when I stretch. BAAWW :[

Think about that statement. Spend some time with it.

Ehhh, I think you can get away with a couple. Despite what some cat-haters might think, they do prefer to have a playmate. And unless you want to be it for your cat, it's a good idea to have a pair.
