Thread for Things That Made You Frown Today

We got about 2 inches of fluffy snow recently, so there was no real need to plow. My frown is for the idiots who drove dead center down the road on the fresh snow and established a rutted wonderland. Also for idiots who center their car between the two gas pumps so the next car in has to wait to get to the free pump. It should be legal to drag these people out of their cars and stuff them face first into snowbanks.

Whole family came. Originally only my parents were going, pre-diagnosis, and my sister was going separately with her husband to visit his grandmother in bangalore. But I got a ticket in October as well and the whole trip was reworked to see more people.

What do we do? Mostly sit around, drink tea and talk. Lots of blessings and assurances that God will perform miracles too.

It was above 80 every day in Goa, a little cooler in bangalore, and it'll be even colder in Delhi, like 60s. But it is the middle of winter.

There is no beef in Indian McDonald's, just chicken, fish, paneer, and sometimes lamb. Though I've never seen a curry special sauce, it's not like mayo is verboten here.

Flying back on the 2nd, thank god. Family is fast too stressful.

My boss, my friend and mentor, took another job. She leaves in 3 weeks. I am absolutely devastated by this. She is incredibly smart and taught me so much, and I had so much more to learn. She was the best person to work for and I consistently felt great going to work every day and being able to share an office with her. This whole situation fucking blows.

Now I have no idea what's going to happen, who I'll report to, etc. I swear, when she told me today I wanted to cry and to punch her in the face.

anyone have experience with Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction and related injections?

I am craving tacos something awful, but I'm at home not feeling great in a big fluffy robe and it's like 30 degrees outside. I'm still trying to defrost my feet since getting home. :(

I opted for Chinese delivery instead. I will partake of some tacos on Monday at trivia, assuming the weather isn't a snowy ice-riddled wasteland and we actually go.
