See the pillow in the middle (if you can call it that!!)? It's attached. So there is no sleeping on these things unless you're a freak that is not bothered by that pillow inside your kidney. See the complete lack of anything to lean on? This means their is also not much sitting on them either. Some days this is my only option for a bed and I want to murder it with a chainsaw. And then set it on fire.

I accidently hit the Espanol option when I drove up a little too arm's reach away from the drive in ATM.

The good news is I was able to complete the transaction from a combination of Spanglish and memory of the key repetition.

Taking off for opening weekend pheasant hunting in South Dakota tomorrow. I usually go every year but I missed the last two due to extenuating circumstances.

Why is it so that the laws of the universe dictate the day before vacation, at a time when you are mentally checked out from doing any real meaningful work , is the same day you will face a massive dump of previously absent shit to do? I got in at 7 am expecting to leave 4ish, and it is now evident I'll be lucky to leave at 7 pm.

While I do admire your candid honesty and the hard cold truth in your statement...fuck you L. I bet you would spare some of that liberal sympathy working for the man if I were a black female and perhaps a tad bit nicer to people. :P

Didn't finish until 7:45 pm. I haven't worked a day like that since 1st quarter.

But...now I can relax. Not really. Waiting on the dryer so I can finish packing. Then I begin a 19 hour road trip in the morning. It will all be worth it when I arrive... No more talks about this dress and that flower arrangement for the wedding, no more helping my kids with their long division math homework, no more shitting my pants on the way to work because I can no longer control my bowels after sitting in my truck for 1.5 hours in that concrete construction plagued hellhole they call 635 only to travel less than 10 miles... Just peaceful zen tranquility in the middle of nowhere with the selective cool side of my male family members, plenty of booze, and the thrill of the hunt. I need this.

As odd as it was to learn that all this time it turns out you are a gay older man when I precieved you to be a bookworm smart but naieve young free-love hippie woman, for some unexplainable reason it further solidified my respect for you on the social side of these forums. No idea why.

Also...that reminds me. I wanted to share here my theory about gayness, and get the opinion of others (especially gay people).

This is the way I see it... There is no morality in being either gay or straight. It is a part of who you are and how you were born. However, I am one of those that see it as a genetic defect...but no more so than a person born with Down syndrome as a crude example. Even to a lighter degree, you can look at it the same as someone born with the gene that leads to alcoholism or (in my case) a genetically passed inattentive ADHD. This is purely evident by the fact that nature intended us to procreate, and if we were all gay then we would die as a species. We would probably be properly fucked too if every single person was an alcoholic or had ADHD.

Now I don't believe that a gay person can change who they are and be straight, any more than someone with Down syndrome could make a perfect score on a LCAT. Therefore, I find it both unfair and wrong to suggest to a gay person they should abstain from sex. Maybe one day science will give us a medical way to treat/cure the disorder that causes people to be gay, but even if it did would a gay person choose it? I do fully support gay marriage and equal rights because...why not? It doesn't interfere with my own perceived 'sanctity of marriage' and I don't understand legally why they should be treated any different. On a personal level, I also believe that our God intended us to all have our own strengths, weaknesses, and character flaws in all things including genetics. It is a part of what makes us unique and, as history has many examples, many times it is the people with the most adversity that go on to make the biggest positive contributions to our world.

So that is my 2 cents. I could never say that to a gay person because the only ones I know in the real world are those at my job and my mother has two gay friends (a couple) that are pretty cool in my book. I wouldn't say that to them in case they would be offended.
