Russia Just Invaded Ukraine

Who ever would have thought that creating an entire encrypted communication tool that relies on 3 or 4g networks would be a bad idea?

Oddly enough, they managed to bomb the very infrastructure their communication relied on.

I'm still in shock at just how much more advanced our military is. Russia is proving they're no superpower

They are barely a regional power it seems. They can kick around Georgia but that seems to be about it.

I still remember reading a story about Russian troops supposedly yelling something like “All that American training you received in running away!” In regards to Georgian troops fleeing.

A part of me hopes those Russian troops are now in Ukraine fleeing for their lives.

This makes the situation even more dangerous in the region and the world. Nothing like a wounded animal backed into a corner to do a lot of damage.

Kind of sad how easy it is to conceal true ownership of property is in the United States, you can fully expect the bipartisan bill authorizing seizure and liquidation of Russian assets to be bitterly fought in Congress and overturned by a Conservative Supreme Court. Authoritarianism, Communism, drug lords, warlords, they have all brought tens of billions into the country for decades and hidden it behind fictitious corporate entities.

One and for all, Congress needs to require all property ownership deeds and full corporate transparency on ownership/profit distributions be provided to the federal government.
