What Are You Wearing?

Where in the FUCK are you people getting all these alterations done at!?!

Instead of hunting critters they hunt alterations.
Once my character is capped I'll be doing the same.

Horf. I don't show ALL the alterations I get at festivals. I horde some of them for later surprises. That's the boots, anyway. I think Polto did the jewel?

I don't think I've shown this one before, so here goes!


You see Jolena.
She appears to be a Human.
She appears to be mature and shorter than average. She has mismatched cerulean and smaragdine eyes and supple sun-toned tawny skin. She has hip-length, deep scarlet hair secured into a spiral knotted bun by some ebony hand-painted hairsticks. She has an elegantly sculpted face, a tiny single freckle beside her petite button nose and long, subtly-upturned lashes. She has soft, delicately-contoured and naturally-tinged deep rose lips.
She has a crescent moon tattoo on her neck, a blooming moonflower tattoo on her waist, and an oval blood red eye tattoo on her neck.
She is wearing an exquisite narrow silver ferronniere with a suspended miniature fiery ruby crescent moon, a flowing vivid scarlet longcoat, a delicate black lace corset, a fiery golden trellis bracelet, a ruby red eahnor wedding ring, a sheer ebon chiffon skirt with a long wispy blackworked underskirt, and some atrous silken sandals with low mistwood heels.

bracelet:
Thin angular bands of pure gold criss-cross over each other around the circumference of the bracelet. Set into each junction is a small polished firestone, with signature liquid crimson and black aspects that blend into the golden setting to create a very warm appearing piece of finery.

Ring:

Expertly wrought, the band of this ring is molded to resemble a leaf-like pattern in all the hues of an autumn sunset. Tapping into almost every shade to be found in a flame, from the deepest crimson to the fairest orange, each delicate leaf has been shaded and highlighted with meticulous care. The fiery display winds its way up to a flawless white moonstone, melding itself perfectly into the band as though the ice-like stone supports, rather than battles, the fiery band.
There appears to be something written on it.

Lysistrata feels like being glittery today.

She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She appears to be young and average height. She has subtly shadow-rimmed contrasting grey and black eyes and fair skin. She has long, perfectly straight deep scarlet hair swept smoothly back from a sharp widow's peak. She has a delicate face and high cheekbones.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a dark-jeweled silver cobweb snood, a delicate black diamond choker, a full-sleeved lavish black velvet robe with tiny jewels winking among the folds, a sheer-backed ebony faille bodice with pointed finger-looped sleeves, a sweeping twilight black skirt, and some black silk pointy-toed slippers.

Hot. She looks like mini-Eorgina. I love the way that robe is described.

You see Hadya.
She appears to be a Human of the Tehir tribes.
She appears to be extremely young and short. She has distant, long-lashed viridian hued eyes and copper skin. She has soft sheened, dark sable hair worn in a number of slim braids that fall past her thighs. She has a dainty face, a freckled nose and a narrow waist. She has a jagged scale-indented scar across her neck.
She has some tattooed argent ophidian designs adorning her left temple, a small blackened bone spike in her lip, and an intricate tattooed pattern that covers the back of her hands.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing an emerald forehead jewel, a sheer black facial veil edged with small gold discs, a sheer argent silk duppatta embroidered with sinuous golden patterns, a sleek shadowy crystal pendant, a shadowy trailing robe, a carved copper asp ring, and some delicate gold disk-hung anklets.

A delicate wrought gold snake encircles the glittering emerald. A single line of golden radiance runs down the center of the emerald, giving it an appearance akin to a cat's-eye moonstone, although, in context, perhaps a serpent's-eye moonstone. A fragile chain suspends the jewel in such a way that it can rest upon its wearer's brow like a third eye.

Each of the hammered gold disks swinging from the set of slender chain anklets is etched with the image of a different serpent. Cobras, vipers, adders, and anacondas gaze up from the surfaces of the various disks, and the eyes of every snake have been marked with tiny flecks of emerald.

Both pieces were done by the jeweler on the wave dancer, I forget her name but she did an awesome job.

I love those anklets. Uni looks like hell otherwise I'd post her. She's up in the Dragonspine looking for bits that fell from the Black Temple.

I really like those anklets too. And I think my friend got a forehead jewel like that from the same alterer 'cause the last line is the same, although the rest is very different. Lemme try to get her to post it.

In the mean time, here's Lysistrata today, all dressed up for a little genteel hunting. Everything that's altered has been seen before and the rest is off-the-shelf.
