Florida has the 4th highest GDP and the 3rd highest population... and DeSantis hasn't been come close to being recalled by the voters of his state.

Less than 24% of registered voters in California are Republicans. It isn't meaningless. He would get fucking annihilated in a national election, but then again, he'd never make it to the nomination in the first place.
