Overslept by 20 mins, forgot to get gas last night so I had to take the time this morning, had to make a last minute route change because there was a piece of shit train blocking my path, got to what should've been 5 minutes from work (like 1.5 miles from the Roswell Rd exit on 285E) and traffic just... stops. Stops. What is it, 6 lanes of traffic? Stopped. Then the right lane starts moving. Then the others just inch. Just as the ambulances and firetrucks are getting there I'm able to squeak by in the right lane - 2-car wreck, one of which is a car turned backwards and flipped onto its hood. Then, after finally getting out of my car, I spill coffee on myself.
BEST MORNING EVER.
To be fair, I was only like 30 mins later than I usually am. Thankfully before the wreck, traffic was super-light so I made up time. And this was probably the best shirt I could have spilled coffee on. You can't even see it. Something about the material I guess, and the fact that it's mostly black (with white stripes).
Yeesh that morning sucks.
