This is really not some outlandish or unreasonable expectation. It's common fucking courtesy.

I don't think getting pissed about it is so bad.

Plus, venting about it here rather than actually slamming her face into anything is better, no? That's pretty much why this thread exists - to vent.

Yeah, my language was harsh, oh well it happens sometimes.

So after I just got done running for an hour in the gym I get to the door and watch this lady walk up the steps with two kids that are old enough to walk, but she was carrying one and dragging the other behind her. Thinking I will wait here and hold the door open for her, she has her hands full. I didn't have any expressions on my face, I was soaked in sweat and was just chilling with the door open.

I hold the door open for everyone, old, young, male, female and I don't expect anything usually but when someone has their hands full with children you would think they would thank you or even a look and nod at you to acknowledge what you did for them.

My shoes hurt my feet, so I work out barefoot. I am pretty sure the shin splints are a direct result of barefoot jumping on a tile floor. I have already been informed that I am a moron, so we can skip that part. I need a good pair of shoes but I'm clearly not the sort of person who will spend a decent amount of money just to save myself from injury.
