Is it likely? Actually yes, it is likely. Remember, Employers don't have to do ANYTHING this year. They don't even have to change plans to fit Obamacare, that's next year. Employer based coverage will plummet next fall. Then the Dems will run even more from Obamacare. And Obama will blame it on Repubs and the insurance agencies.
Obama is already setting in motions plans to blame the insurance agencies in 2014.
He indicated that he would favor insurances extending prior plans for another year ... but most insurance agencies are unprepared to revive plans that they had to cancel due to Obamacare regulations...
So this is a prediction that will most assuredly play out true in 2014.
Jarvan you've got some anger issues that you need to work on. Chill out man.
I said nothing about impossible. Whatever you think you proved was just tilting at windmills.
Bookmark these posts and wait a year. If 100 million small and large business policies are cancelled you can tell me "Told you so". Until then I'm not buying this story.
There's so much more to this than cancellation fever. It's a smokescreen. Yes it's true. Obama f'ed up when he said "If you like your insurance, you can keep it." He underestimated the insurance industry's reaction.

Quote:
The fact is if you are one of the estimated 2 million Americans whose health insurance plans may have been cancelled this month, you should not be blaming President Obama or the Affordable Care Act.
You should be blaming your insurance company because they have not been providing you with coverage that meets the minimum basic standards for health care.
Let me put it more bluntly: your insurance companies have been taking advantage of you and the Affordable Care Act puts in place consumer protection and tells them to stop abusing people.
The government did not “force” insurance companies to cancel their own substandard policies. The insurance companies chose to do that rather than do what is right and bring the policies up to code.
This would be like saying the government “forces” chemical companies to dispose of toxic waste safely rather than dumping it in the river.
Or the government “forces” people to drive with intact windshields and working brake lights.
