Depends on the issue. I tend to lean more right on fiscal issues (except military spending) and more left on social issues. My girlfriend identifies as libertarian and leans further left on all issues than me, though I think geography and upbringing play a part in that. She was raised on a farm in Kansas, attended college at Wichita St. and works in banking. I was raised lower middle class in south Louisiana and went to work in the refineries at 18.

I think of kansans, especially rural folk, as conservative as fuck! LOL

They generally are conservative, although the younger generations are veering away from that (thanks in large part to their idiot of a governor.)

Refineries are very dangerous, but the pay makes up for it.
