Nothing in that link backs up what you're saying. What a shocker.

U.S.-UKRAINE RELATIONS
The United States established diplomatic relations with Ukraine in 1991, following its independence from the Soviet Union. The United States attaches great importance to the success of Ukraine as a free and democratic state with a flourishing market economy. U.S. policy is centered on supporting Ukraine in the face of continued Russian aggression as it advances reforms to strengthen democratic institutions, fight corruption, and promote conditions for economic growth and competition. The United States does not, and will not ever, recognize Russia’s attempted annexation of Crimea, and continues to work with our partners to seek a diplomatic solution to the Russia-instigated conflict in eastern Ukraine. The U.S.-Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership highlights the importance of the bilateral relationship and the continued commitment of the United States to support enhanced engagement between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Ukraine.
U.S. Assistance to Ukraine
U.S. Government assistance to Ukraine aims to support the development of a secure, democratic, prosperous, and free Ukraine, fully integrated into the Euro-Atlantic community.
Bilateral Economic Relations
The United States has granted Ukraine market economy status and terminated the application of the Jackson-Vanik amendment to Ukraine, giving Ukraine permanent normal trade relations status. The United States and Ukraine have a bilateral investment treaty. U.S. exports to Ukraine include coal, machinery, vehicles, agricultural products, fish and seafood, and aircraft. U.S. imports from Ukraine include iron and steel, inorganic chemicals, oil, iron and steel products, aircraft, and agricultural products. The U.S.-Ukraine Council on Trade and Investment was established under the countries’ agreement on trade and investment cooperation and works to increase commercial and investment opportunities by identifying and removing impediments to bilateral trade and investment flows.
Ukraine’s Membership in International Organizations
Ukraine and the United States belong to a number of the same international organizations, including the United Nations, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organization, and Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. Ukraine also is an observer to the Organization of American States.
Bilateral Representation
Principal embassy officials are listed in the Department’s Key Officers List.
Ukraine maintains an embassy in the United States at 3350 M Street NW, Washington, DC 20007 (tel. 202-349-2920).
Paste anything at all from your own LINK that indicates we're not allies.
There is no need for projection. We already know you're dumb as fuckall.Quote:
They're not there, only in your syphilis rotten brain.
It actually says I'm right and that you don't know what the word ally means, or that you don't even read your own citations. Probably both.
"The United States and Ukraine have a bilateral investment treaty." Look at that, a treaty, making us at the very least economic allies.
Amazing!!! "The U.S.-Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership " We have a charter on strategic partnership. That looks an awful lot like we consider them to be an ally there too.
And CATO considers them a military ally.

Of course, Seran knows better than CATO institute.
Hey look, the Washington Post calls them a Geopolitical Ally.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...eep-heres-why/
But no, Seran knows better than them too.
Oh wait, Forbes does too.

But no, Seran knows more than Forbes.
And BEFORE you go WAAAH! IT DOESN'T SPECIFICALLY SAY THE WOIRD ALLY IN THERE!!!!
It doesn't for the UK either.

I said we as in it's the world's problem now. Sanctions wouldn't have made a difference in this.
Putin doesn't seem to like the minor uprising in Belarus and kazakhstan as they appear to be a threat to him. Seems to me he thought he'd walk in like during Obama years and no one would bat an eye.
I'm all for the current approach. Keep our forces out and supply the Ukrainians. Much cheaper than deploying tens of thousands of troops and armor with minimal risk to personnel.
No dude you can trot out as many opinion pieces as you want but they're just somebody we trade with. We have absolutely no obligation to protect Ukraine. Fucking stupid that you sit here and and contradict the Secretary of State's information page with a Forbes article. What a fool you are.
As for the United Kingdom, you obviously didn't read that page otherwise you would have noticed they're listed as our Ally and a security partner. Never mind the page lists them as a fellow NATO member.

Other than a brief break in relations during the War of 1812, the United States and the United Kingdom have remained durable partners and Allies. Our partnership is the foundation of our mutual prosperity and security.
Seran when Trump is president: ZOMG! Trump just totally bullied our good and trusted ally Ukraine! Impeach him!
Seran when Biden is president: LOL! Fuck Ukraine! Let them all die!
Seran is a good warning story to little children. "Never dive head first into far left politics or else you might grow up to be a bitter, jaded, shit head like this man did."
