Couple of things; the 17 day estimate is assuming the United States was ONLY relying on oil from the SPR for it's domestic needs. This is not the case as domestically we produce much more oil than we use. Second, Israel is nowhere near the Straight of Hormuz. Third, you're a fucking idiot.

just wondering what happened to travel through the straight of Hormuz(this was from 10/7, it really wasnt hard to see coming). If we are producing so much oil why are we importing from Russia?

Now that we are over 6 months into this thought this was interesting. Israel is getting ready to sacrifice the red heifers and tear down the Muslim temple that stands on the site for the new Temple. The sacrifice is to cleanse the tools to build a temple that is supposed to usher in the end of times. Obviously, the method they went about this is wrong but the Dome of the Rock is sacred to Muslims. If it gets destroyed this will likely be the trigger for a much larger conflict.

The sacrifice has to occur by Passover. Buckle up.

I think it would be funny for them to go ahead, the muslim world to rise up in anger and attack them and in short order Israel pastes all of them so badly that they shut up again for 20 years or more.

Of course, Iran wants to nuke Israel and if they do, it would go real badly for Iran and the rest of the muslim wolrd as well because again, in short order, most of the muslim world would go up in smoke.
