He can and should be charged for illegal possession. He didn't murder anyone. It was all in reaction to things done to him.

Yeah I'm fine if they want to hit him with this misdemeanor charge for having the rifle. But this wasn't even remotely close to being murder. Attempted murder on behalf of the people he shot though yes and the fucker missing half of his arm should for sure be charged.
