I don't know why ice loss in the Arctic means one thing and ice gain in the Anarctic means another. I'm not a climatologist. I'm merely pointing out that with absolutely no evidence, you believed Dr. Meier to be a hypocrite. Can you remember any times when you had a similar reaction to anti-climate change scientists?

Sort of like how scientists had to come up with a reason for why seasons were getting colder in the era when it was still called global "warming."

They nipped that one in the bud by renaming it climate change.

This is why it's totally pointless to argue with conservatives, especially the ones on this forum.

How many times have you been called out for incorrectly claiming that "scientists changed 'global warming' to 'climate change' to explain cooling"? That claim is false, and I've pointed you to NASA's statement on the subject--NASA under the Bush administration.
