Today I got to work to find out that now, all of a sudden, certain types of websites are being blocked on the company network. "Internet music and video services" for one, including shit like Pandora (but not youtube?), and forums, so now I have to use Log Me In to read the PC while I have downtime at work. Wholly fucking annoyed.

I ended up taking half a personal day because I was just in a bad mood all day, feeling generally "unhappy" but for no logical reason at all. I had finished my work super early, as the first day of close is really easy, and because I didn't get in until 10:30 and I took a long lunch at the mall with some co-workers (which ended up taking twice as long as I was hoping/expecting it to), in order to leave at 4 I felt obligated to take that half day, even if I'll make up the time the rest of the week. Fuck it. It was still worth it.

Went to Publix, and noticed that I now have a nice little ding/scratch in my passenger door. Probably from some drunk bag of dicks at that public parking place last night. Or some (most likely) sober bag of dicks in my parking garage today.

Today is shit. I'm glad it's almost over.

I wish all these science journals (and whatever you humanities' people publish your speculation bullshit in) would just standardized the literature cited portion so that a simple computer program could completely and accurately create a citation document for you. The current options are so prone to errors for most journals. Think off all the time we could save in the writing, editing, and review processes. It makes me frown. I am frowning.
