I'm not certain you were able to accomplish what you perceived as an attempt to poke fun, in such a convoluted manner.
My hope for you, is that your daughter does not grow up with profoundly more significant/drastic 'daddy issues' than you did ... due in part to any possible ingraining of man-hating you may impart to her (which is probably already occurring).
So I encourage you to help yourself, for your daughter's sake. =)
Reliance on a "technicality" is only outrageous when it happens in a maybe-inflammatory situation like this. I bet if you got sued and it was dismissed via a technicality (didn't serve you correctly, didn't serve within the statute of limitations, didn't provide the proper notice, etc), you wouldn't be so upset about it.
I agree, by the way, that if it happened the way your friend told you it happened, the situation sucks. The problem is that we're playing a not-so-sophisticated game of telephone with the facts: daughter, to friend, to you, to us. So we don't really know what happened anyway.
Try: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abilify "is a partial dopamine agonist of the second generation class of atypical antipsychotics"
and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorazine " a dopamine antagonist of the typical antipsychotic class of medications possessing additional antiadrenergic, antiserotonergic, anticholinergic and antihistaminergic properties used to treat schizophrenia"
Granted, I'm not a doctor ... but Rojo clearly has issues...
They were at the courthouse together, anticipating the charges being dropped as per the conversation police officer. I can understand why the officer originally decided to go with reckless driving, as afterall, her daughter totaled her car.
But for it to be a situation where the charges *would* had been dropped, and sentenced to probationary status, with the requirement to take driver's ed classes ... to result in 3 points being assigned and a fine, because having taken the driver's ed classes the prior week (in being proactive) ... seems to be something that only bureaucracy can accomplish (local, state, and federal level). Absolutely ridiculous.
That's pretty weird man. I don't know whether to be creeped out or flattered that you've thought about my mental state so much. You should probably take the internet more seriously though, you're clearly not mouth breathing enough over silly internet shit.
Just spent half of the day writing my paper. THEN read the TAs newest email that said paper due date moved to 18th. Curses.
