A woman sat next to me in my first two lectures today and was seriously distracting. She'd breathe in (not Dad Noise-loud but audible) and then... nothing for a count of four or five. And then suddenly a soft, "Nnnn..." What the. It was half sexual, half sheer effort. What the hell was she doing, desperately holding in her breakfast taco?! Every once in a while, it'd turn into a trailing "uh" too. Always quiet but.. damnit. Right in my ear. I refused to look over at her to see what she was doing but I didn't see any rubbing action going on in my peripheral vision. She wasn't really antsy, didn't move around much.
What the fuck? Stop involving your vocal cords in your breathing, bitch. And why the hell are you holding your breath briefly EVERY TIME?! Seriously. Even though I didn't look at her, my attention zeroed in on her with every stupid, straining breath. I was so happy when she didn't find the third lecture informative enough to attend.
And then. THEN. Goddamn close-talking vendors. Look. The quality of your terrier shampoo is not a goddamn secret. You don't need to stick your cock in my bubble to make sure no one overhears you.
