So a pregnant woman has different rights than everyone else? Why does a woman who has a baby inside her, have different rights than anyone else?

After some reading today I learned that pregnant women, elderly, and disabled are a protected class when it comes to assault. Punishment for assaulting that class is more harsh than not.
A pregnant woman who intends to give birth should be different.
What does that have to do with women being the sole authority over their own bodies and reproductive rights?
You are right, we have nothing to talk about when you believe an unborn child has no rights. Technology has changed the definition of viable life. You simply don't accept that an unborn child has rights, while I think they do. I will grant there is a grey line as to when life is viable, you apparently believe it's black and white.
I'm ok with women killing the growing life inside of them, btw. I think it's ludicrous to think the only thing that separates life is a woman's pussy, though.
I tried being logical with you, but it was wasted effort. I should have listened to everyone else saying I was debating with an idiot.
So, it's ok to assault her just to kill the baby if she paid for it because it's her body, her choice. So what about a man's choice in the matter when it's his sperm? Babies generally aren't conceived without some sperm involved and most of that sperm is not purchased so where is the father's rights in this? Because you have basically argued that it's ok to murder a baby that is 100% perfectly viable on it's own unless and until it is birthed.
Not in NY. If a man, for good measure we'll say he's a white cis gender man, beats a woman while purposefully attacking her belly in an attempt to kill the unborn child there is no additional penalties for said man if he kills the baby. All he will be charged with is the assault on the woman.
