Okay so check it. A Republican Senator introduced an amendment that increased funding for the police, challenging all Senators that if they didn't vote for his amendment they were proving they were for defunding the police. Cory Booker (you might remember him as the failed Democrat presidential candidate who referred to himself as Spartacus) got a big shit eating grin on his face and told fellow Democrats they should "sashay" to vote for the amendment to prove once and for all that no one in the Senate wanted to defund the police.

So Democrats voted on the amendment.

Then BLM specifically gave Cory Booker shit for not only supporting more funding for the police but also for how giddy he was about it.

You gotta love it.
