Hah, I actually thought about her fleetingly as I hit the post button.

I am the worst room parent ever. After being sick for the halloween party that I was responsible for planning, I forgot that there was a valentine's day party... so now it is the 13th. I have emailed the teacher hoping this is something I can remedy by just throwing money at it.

Initially when I agreed to be a room parent, they used the term "Co-Room Parent". I thought, ok sure, I can help out someone who is an actual adult... turns out that while I signed up to be a "co-room parent", nobody else did. So I am the only one. And I suck at it.

That's what I get for breaking my own cardinal rule- Never Volunteer.
