Those things just need lasers and Skynet stickers.
Friend of mine in Canada sent me these today:

Ketchup Doritos sounds oddly appealing to me.
The roulette ones sound awesome.
I tried the flaming cheetos. They were vaguely spicy, I'm not some kind of chili head who seeks out ghost peppers or anything. I guess my expectations were just off.
A small bag of crunchy Cheetos is still my guilty pleasure once in a while. Nature's perfect food.
one more day!

It was -24°F when I woke this morning. No idea if it's a record for the area, but it's a record for me. New bragging rights! I'm going to go crawl back into my warm bed for the rest of the morning.
Got tickets to see Joshua bell this summer.:D
Going to see Trailer Park Boys live tomorrow in New Orleans and got 2nd row seats.

R-rated Power Rangers
http://spinoff.comicbookresources.co...gers-fan-film/
I can't take the Power Rangers seriously since they had a murderer on their cast.
Just got a great deal on these LED lights and hub. You can change the brightness and the color from your phone along with hooking up a lot of other appliances and features up to the same system. There is a really good deal on them from Home Depot if anyone wants to check them out, but it is today only!

Anyone else mess around with "Smart Home" technology? Apparently these bulbs can all be tied into any existing system. If I didn't rent I would convert everything over to smart technology. Fucking internet of things, man. It's the future.
http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-Link-9...806?quantity=1
They look cool and every time I pass by them at Home Depot I'm tempted to pick them up but they seem like more of a novelty than anything else. I'm sure some people might find more use for them than me but for me it would be the "That's so awesome!" factor of controlling my lights from my cell phone then a week later I'm just flicking the on/off switch anyways.

Nah, I mean the bundle with the hub that allows to sync them with your phone. You get 2 bulbs and the hub for 50 bucks there. I guess i'm a nerd. I like colored lighting and I especially like being able to dim the lighting.
There are 3 versions of the bundle. One with 60w bulbs, one with 65w, and one with 90w bulbs.

Ronda Rousey armbarring girls into oblivion. Always fun to watch.
My seventh cash business is now operating in the black. Business is simplified enormously when you ignore laws and taxes and just do whatever you want. :D
Seriously though.. wtf was Cat thinking? Her wheelhouse and expertise is standup striking... and Ronda's weaker game. WHY would she think "I think I'll rush Ronda and get her on the ground" is a good strategy?
Enjoy being in the record books for tapping out the fastest. Ever. And 14 seconds.. that's a record that could go on for a very long time.
My smile of the day is avatar related. I'm still keeping avatars turned off though as it really speeds page load times on my phone.
Happy 1 month anniversary

My cat has been sick for the past couple of weeks so a few days ago I took her to the vets. It was my first time at this particular place and the staff was amazing and the doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was already pretty sure I was going to use them from now on but today I got a get well card in the mail from them, signed by the entire staff, and given a coupon for a free nail filing. Fucking A+ customer service.

BattleBots is coming back!
We're those the generic transformers? Or was that go bots?
There was a lot of potential in this show and if they can get legit teams together, it'd be cool as hell to see what people can cobble together.
Valve's Vive is a legit VR HMD. I wonder if it will cause Oculus to up their game.

The controller usage has me sort of wary. I expected something more interactive, like touch gloves or something *I know, it sounds stupid* for the VR aspect. It's supposed to be an immersive reality. I am definitely looking forward to it all with anticipation, since it's ~supposed~ to make gaming a whole new experience.
Anyone claiming that, with new tech, has my attention. At least while it seems logical, and not fantastical.
E3 should be very interesting this year.
I would probably prefer some kind of glove controller too. These just look kind of clunky.
http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/...r5jtqxovg9.jpg
Yeah that's my worry. When you're holding a controller like that, it's a tactile disconnect. A glove, at least, is something you slip on and forget about. It's just a cover. I really hope they flesh options out because if there's gloves instead of controllers, I'm sold. If I have to use the Bowser Wands, I'm going to probably be cranky.

Just finished Dying Light. It isn't a perfect game, but it's pretty famed enjoyable.

On another board there was a thread where we tell general details about ourselves and I mentioned I love books. Some random stranger messaged me with a code for an amazon gift certificate. It was the sweetest thing and it made my week :)

On a side note I'd like to say they would be foolish not to restart production.
Picked up a third job, babysitting occasionally for these two kids. No idea what to charge, I just shrugged when their dad asked what my rate would be. I was like, honestly I have no idea what babysitters get paid now, whatever you think is fair.
He's a cool dude, friends with my both of my bosses (coffee shop), I'm trying to help him get his leather work into the store I sell leather goods at on commission. Still excited to hang out with some kids and make sure they dont burn the house down and get paid lol
2 kids? $12-13/hour.
20 bucks an hour. No, I am not joking. Yes, it is what the rate is here in California.
I ran a childcare service for 6 families when I was in LA, to help supplement me and my girlfriend's income. We both watched, and we charged 20 bucks an hour. It's a bit expensive, but it's NOWHERE near what daycares charge. And you're available more readily than a daycare.
I'll tell him next time I see him I guess.
His kids are really sweet, I've met them before. His son will be the more difficult of the two just cause he's younger but his daughter is pretty cool, 10 years old so she's like, a person.
Uh. nope.
Last time I saw them we played Where is Waldo.
Maybe.
One of the owners of my second job (coffee place) made all the counters and tables by himself and one has a bunch of where is waldo pages under a clear resin, gives kids something to do while they wait. So last time we played where is waldo.

Gotta be honest, this actor is one of the most underappreciated actors, and he's amazing to watch on the big screen.

I would hope so. We have a nanny cam. It's the parents who invite someone into their home to watch their children, and don't have a nanny cam that make me shake my head in disbelief.
I mean, I'm not going to look for it. They can watch me sit on their couch and study when the kids are asleep
I plan on crafts if the kids are still awake.
I don't just have toys hanging around to bring...

Here's some (but by no means all) that are available: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...ix=nanny%2Caps

Were you going to link something?
I've seen pictures of that cave before. Would love to go someday.
All I can say to that is: The Descent. Watch it again!
I didn't like that movie. Wasn't even scary.
