"take up expensive hobbies (such as big game hunting or horse breeding)"
Dogs, horses, and Indians... the only three things the federal government quantifies by blood.
The irony, of course, is that the actor who says that line is himself of uncertain quanta, made all the more uncertain because his mother and father are from different tribes.
.
Seriously though, guys, how hard is it not to use slurs? I admit that I am an introvert and thus not big on the spoken word, but still I have managed to avoid saying any slur for years and years. Aren't you better than me? Aren't you?
Does that mean I can breed Indians and make them Indian-fight to the death like Michael Vick?
You can if you call the winner "Furious George"

Change is coming. It's just a matter of how long they'll hold out while we have to argue about this shit.
Quote:
The Houston Independent School District announced on Tuesday it has officially changed its mascots with "Native American or historically insensitive ties."
The Lamar High School Redskins will become the Texans, the Welch Middle School Warriors will become the Wolf Pack, and the Westbury High School Rebels will now be known as the Huskies.
It's a simple change of name, but it won't be cheap.
HISD says it will cost $38,000 to remove all old symbols and signs at the campuses, and $50,000 for new uniforms.
"The moral cost to our reputation as a diverse district -- where we care about the sensitivities of every single individual -- would be incalculable if we were not to do this," HISD superintendent Terry Grier said.
As for the NFL's Redskins, the debate still continues.
Ok... the Welch Warriors.. WTF is wrong with that? How exactly is "warrior" insensitive?
Redskins won't change their name till Congress forces them to, or ticket and merchandise sales drop so low they lose money. I doubt Congress will ever force them to change.. (well, maybe if 300 morons get elected.. or people like you and Back) As far as people.. I just don't think people really care. Hell, most native Americans don't care.
Most of these name change things are started by left wing loons that think they are doing a good thing because of some form of guilt they feel.
