State of the game?

Hi all, I sold off my mains a year ago and as you all know the God damn itch to play is back.
What's the state of the game? Is it any different to a year ago?
Has there been any announcements saying they're closing down the servers?
Has Backlash got a Thai bride?

I just dont want to invest in a new character if it has changed too much to enjoy anymore.

Nothing has really changed. You catch wind of a few people leaving and then a few people coming back.

I'm not sure if every game change has been listed in there, but at least it's a good reference point for folks to use.


I guess the introduction of gemstones for endgame is a big addition. So I can't say "nothing has really changed". But I haven't taken part in any of that stuff so I couldn't answer any questions about it.

a lot of positive changes in the last year. Not so much that you will find it unrecognizable. some great end game content...that you probably won't need to worry about for a year or 2 if you're starting over fresh.
