I'm really bored, but it's too late to go out and do something and too early to go to bed. I should probably meditate. I haven't been doing that lately and that usually keeps me pretty grounded.
I tried meditation once. I couldn't get my brain to stop wandering.

There is a great free app called Headspace that I use after workouts for meditation. It is a series of 10 different 10 minute guided meditation sessions. There are also a few animations to help explain some concepts to the exercise. I think it's a nice, easy way to try out some short mindfulness exercises for those new to the experience.
