I've got a crown that gives a +5 to Stamina (I know, not terribly exciting). The crown is also imbeddable (can actually be re-imbedded should one see fit to do so).

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the ora crown in your hand...

The magical strength of this item is strong. It could probably handle the imbedding of an entirely new spell, if handled with care.

The crown resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 5 to Max Stamina.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 15 times.
The crown looks to have a huge number of charges remaining.

You sense that the ora crown will crumble into dust after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

You sense that the ora crown will persist after its last magical charge has been expended.

If I were to imbed a spell in the crown, but not use all the charges and say the enhancive last charge was used, would the crown still crumble? Or would it stick around until the last imbed charge is used?

The crown would crumble

The crown would crumble

That's what I figured, but I wanted to verify my initial thoughts.

Thanks,

otherwise, everyone with a crumble/persist enhancive would put one charge of whatever in it, never activate it, and have a non-crumbly enhancive
