I am guessing it started at 250k?

It did start at 250k. But I usually only strip down for jail and Luntz' mom. Think about the falls off the bridge.. the poison and RT along the WL->Sol path. Plenty of other obstacles too, never mind the different profs battling like the rogues hiding at the rope bridge to slow others and rangers laying down tangle weed. Might even get your limbs blown off by the Enforcers for forgetting to take a drink. If you want to win this is not just about connection speed and ;go2 typeahead lines. Sounds fun... 5m worth.

--If it wasn't in the OP rules, then it goes.

I don't think the brawling bar in IMT has beer you can get drunk with, try Nighowl Pub for next closest.

Having just run a similar but far less geographically ambitious race for Helden today, I'd think the issue would be to monitor the racers to ensure they don't just script removing the drunkenness, go2ing to just before the location, getting drunk again, repeating.

Unless you had a member group with every runner, too many rooms to monitor to ensure fairness.

That's why it will never be 10m. And it's not like the Consortium is taking entry fees. There is definitely a bit of Honor System involved. Some things you just don't cheat or script at, and if you do, you're just a bitch and everybody will know it, one way or another, one day or the next. Chances are, first run, your script will fail because you suck anyways and if it doesn't well shit, you got skillz to pay one bill. If you spot cheating I would encourage regulating it. But that could just be me--I like loopholes.

I'd rather run it than host it that's for sure. Can't beat the price.

That sucks man, sorry this didn't turn out. I would have ran but my accounts are all on hold at the moment.

I've tried running games/contests before and I've noticed people suck about signing up, they typically just show up :p

Sorry to hear that, it sounded like a fun race. I never make it home by 7 pm these days or I might have signed up.

Yeah, pretty much the same here. Awesome and fun idea, but I never really know if I can participate in something until I'm actually on. Sometimes better just to leave it more or less unofficial then announce on lnet that you're doing it.

Yeah, I'm usually getting my son ready for bed at that hour, and then I have to get ready to go to work. Otherwise I probably would have participated. It sounded fun!

I would have participated but the time of day just doesn't work for me. You have a great idea here though - suggest not giving up on it.
