How do F2P persons gear?

So with a banking limit of 100k, how do you gear F2P? Is there a layaway. Seems even most just 4x garbage (which I'm satisfied with) can exceed 100k now.

I'm pretty sure most use another F2P character to hold unlimited coins. The banking restriction is dumb.
