It'd have to be a character purchase for some of them.

The original 2009 auction wings are removable and transferable to another character, they were just very painful to do so, but I believe all the people that own them are quite happy with them.

There was also a Gosaena wing tattoo sold that year, that was a magical tattoo that came to life and gave the wear wings, that was not transferable.

I almost got the dauntless one right after the auction but the seller had second thoughts. I do not keep track of who has em.
