Here's what I figured out to be the best bolt spell vs armor types. Major Shock and Hurl Boulder are the most powerful bolts against any armor class higher than leather. I listed the best mid-range mana cost spell though. Some odd ones. Minor Fire is better than Major Shock / Hurl Boulder vs Cloth. Minor Steam is better than the more expensive Major Shock / Hurl Boulder vs Leather. Also I made up all the math on the fly but seemed to be able value each aspect of the spells (DF, AvD, Fatal Crits) justly.
